Weekly rides have record year!



      Monday and Thursday rides have had phenomenal participation this year. Monday rides have been averaging 30 riders  and Thursdays close to 40 with one ride just short of 50 an increase of 30% over 2006's successful year. It has been great to see so many new riders joining in with the longtime regulars.



 



CCCP increased support for youth bike program.   



        Thanks to the support of our generous sponsors and all  club members, CCCP in 2007 was able to buy 150 helmets (up 50% from 2006) for The Bike Shop program, which does such wonderful bike activities and projects for Portland's youth.  20% of all sponsorships amd mebership dues goes to support CCCP's HEADCASES Helmet Project.



       In addition, CCCP helped organize and put on The Community Bike Ride, which raised over $1700 for the program. The club looks forward to organizing the Second Annual Community Ride next July.
